Looking Back

I think every painter has their own personal piece that they had a tug on their heart strings when their painting sold. This was such a painting for me. Here I used acrylics with thin layers of transparencies. This process created what looked to be an oil painting. I typically second guess my work, but not with this piece. There was no doubt I was looking at something special, at least to me and the collector.
