Making a Real Connection

'Engaged' an original geometric Diptych.  Each piece 30" x 48" on canvas total presentation 60" x 48" by Victoria Kloch

There are several ways to paint hard-edge geometrics. Kurt and I prefer doing it the 'old school' way by taping off each section and hand painting with a brush. Some of the younger artist today are using and reusing stencils and spray paint. True, our process takes a lot more time and can be very tedious as well. I really enjoy the relationship that develops between me and the time spent with each piece. Please don't misunderstand, I have seen very exciting graffiti art made with stencils and spray paint. It's just that with hard edge geometrics, there is so much depth that can be only be achieved with a simple brush and a roll of tape.
